Brian Cincera

SVP & Chief Information Security Officer, Pfizer, Inc.

Brian has global responsibility for Pfizer’s enterprise infrastructure, multi-cloud platforms, IT operations, information security and risk management capabilities.  In his role, Brian oversees strategy development, operations and infrastructure services delivery at more than 500 Pfizer locations.  As part of Pfizer’s Enterprise Risk Management program, Brian is responsible for leading its information security risk governance process including regular reporting to Pfizer’s executive leadership and Board of Directors.

Prior to his current role, Brian led a wide range of technology teams in both infrastructure and cybersecurity, including strategic leadership for enterprise-wide deployment programs.  He joined Pfizer in 2005 after working with the company to develop its digital credential and electronic identity strategy.  Before joining Pfizer, Brian worked at Greenwich Technology Partners, Bolt Baranek & Newman (BBN) and other strategic security consulting firms supporting the Financial Services, Telecommunications, Transportation and Energy industries, inside and outside of the United States.

Brian is the Board Chairman for the Health – Information Sharing and Analysis Center (H-ISAC), the Department of Homeland Security affiliated entity for enhancing cybersecurity across the healthcare sector.  Brian co-authored “The Perfect Scorecard”, a practical guide to cybersecurity.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Penn State University and lives in Allentown, PA with his wife and two school-age daughters.
