We’re powered by “Craniacs”: a team committed to redefining the standard for AI excellence.
Cranium builds products to secure AI, developing cutting-edge AI/ML methods that push the state of the art. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key member of the engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining the core platform of the Cranium architecture.
Your work will focus on building scalable, multi-tenant systems that detect and monitor how AI is used across enterprise environments. You’ll work primarily with our backend platform and cloud infrastructure, collaborating with frontend engineers, machine learning engineers and product managers to deliver robust solutions to our enterprise customers.
Design, develop and maintain scalable multi-tenant platform services and APIs within Azure and other cloud platforms.
Work with machine learning engineers and product managers to develop backend services that power our AI security features.
Implement and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes and related orchestration technologies.

Support customers through technical issues, escalations and feature requests alongside the customer success team.
Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality adheres to best practices.
Balance new feature development with platform maintenance and refactoring.
Customer-focused — you start from the problem the customer is trying to solve, and measure your work by whether it actually helps them.
Willing to put your ego aside — you care more about the best outcome than being right, welcome feedback and give credit generously.
Collaborative and low-drama — you work well across engineering squads, product and customer success, and raise issues directly and constructively.

Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
Familiarity with Agile or similar project management methodologies.
A track record of building and delivering enterprise SaaS at scale.
Experience building multi-tenant applications with strong tenant isolation and scalability.
