01Product evolution

Know the old name? Here’s where it lives now.

03Spotlight

Aiceberg is now Cranium Guardian.

The runtime engine Cranium AI acquired in May 2026 now works at every stage of the AI Trust Loop. Here is what it does at each one.

  1. 01 Discover

    Shadow AI view

Surfaces shadow AI from connected SIEM activity, sorted into AI providers, AI-enabled SaaS, AI web apps and AI inside developer tools.

  2. 02 ObserveHome stage

    Sessions and events

Records every interaction between your AI tools and the model, including the tool calls an agent makes, in session and event views.

  3. 03 Govern

    Profiles

Turn written policy into rulesets. Each safety and security signal gets a Block, Modify or Pass action for every use case.

  4. 04 Secure

    Enforce mode and Cannon

Enforce mode sits inline on prompts and responses. Cannon runs whole prompt collections to test a profile’s guardrails before they go live.

  5. 05 Prove

    Trace™

Explains every verdict from deterministic classifiers, not an LLM judge, so the reason behind each decision is on record.

Then

A container for information about an AI system: how it was built, how it is governed and how it aligns to regulation.

A living, exportable transparency report for each system, mapped to the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF and ISO 42001. Request, respond and share with vendors and auditors.

AI Exposure Management

May 2024 · Solution
Name retired
Then

Mapped the AI attack surface, assessed known vulnerabilities and ran AI red-teaming across internal and third-party AI systems.

Red-teaming grew into Cranium Arena™, tested against MITRE ATLAS and OWASP, with Arena Shield™ testing guardrails and exporting hardened configuration. Attack-surface inventory now lives in Discover. Test evidence flows into Prove.

Then

Detected weaknesses in AI systems that threats could exploit, rated their severity and recommended fixes.

Each assessment ties to an AI Bill of Materials and combines Arena test results, technology CVEs scored by CVSS, and findings from the Adversarial Inputs Detector.

Then

Launched as an AI discovery tool at scale, finding and labeling AI across enterprise codebases in hours, not weeks.

One of four Discover sensors. It runs detection across every repository your version-control integrations find, then hands AI-positive repos to CodeSensor for an AI Bill of Materials.

Then

Cranium AI’s code scanner for public and private repositories, built to generate AI Bills of Materials.

Scans GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket and Azure DevOps repositories and builds the AI-BOM: models, datasets, technologies and infrastructure. Exports to CycloneDX and SPDX, and rescans on every push when webhooks are on.

06What stays put

New names on the box. Same work inside it.

Module names still work

Detect AI™, CodeSensor™, Arena™, Arena Shield™ and the AI Card™ keep their names. They now sit inside a stage of the loop instead of standing alone.

Your API calls don’t move

The Public API still answers at api.cranium.ai, with EU and Australia regions. Resources keep their names: Bills of Materials, Arena Models, AI Cards and Vendors.

Docs are where they were

Every guide still lives at docs.cranium.ai, organized by the areas you already use, from Detect AI to Cranium Guardian.

07Questions

Straight answers about the old names.

Seeing a legacy name in a contract, an RFP or a review site? Start here.

What happened to Cranium Enterprise?

Cranium Enterprise is now Cranium ONE. It is the same Cranium AI platform, now organized around the AI Trust Loop (Discover, Observe, Govern, Secure and Prove) and covering every model, agent and vendor across the enterprise AI supply chain.

Is CodeSensor still available?

Yes. CodeSensor™ is one of the four sensors inside Discover, alongside Detect AI™, CloudSensor™ and AgentSensor™. It scans your repositories and builds the AI Bill of Materials, and the Public API can still trigger a CodeSensor scan on a BOM.

What replaced Cranium AI Exposure Management?

Its red-teaming and vulnerability work now lives in Secure, through Cranium Arena™, Arena Shield™ and Vulnerability Assessments. The attack-surface inventory it started moved into Discover, and its test evidence feeds AI Cards in Prove.

What happened to Aiceberg and Cranium Guardian?

Cranium AI acquired Aiceberg in May 2026, and its runtime engine is now Cranium Guardian. Guardian works across the AI Trust Loop: shadow AI in Discover, sessions and events in Observe, profiles in Govern, Enforce mode in Secure and Trace™ explanations in Prove.

Is Detect AI the same thing as Discover?

No. Discover is the first stage of the AI Trust Loop. Detect AI™ is one of the sensors that powers it, finding which repositories contain AI so CodeSensor™ can document what is inside.

Why organize everything around the AI Trust Loop?

Each stage depends on the one before it. You can’t observe AI you haven’t discovered, govern behavior you haven’t observed, or prove controls you never enforced. The loop runs continuously as models, agents and vendors change.

08Bring the old name

We’ll show you the whole loop today.
