Position: Solutions Engineer (APAC)

Remote (Singapore or Australia — APAC Region)

Join Cranium and serve as the technical engine behind winning and deploying enterprise AI security across APAC.

Vision

Our vision is to secure the AI revolution. As the adoption of AI continues to expand, AI and machine learning (ML) models are increasingly exposed to new classes of threats. Without visibility into the AI assets in use, or monitoring of key metrics and threat indicators, organizations will not be able to keep up with this changing landscape. Our enterprise product is built to integrate with existing AI systems and detect AI threats.

Advancing the state of AI is a collaborative process that requires unusually varied skills and perspectives. To that end, we have built a multidisciplinary team with increasingly diverse backgrounds. Together, we’re building the future of secure and trustworthy AI.

About the Role

As a Solutions Engineer, you will serve as Cranium’s primary technical resource throughout the presales process and into customer implementation. This role bridges business requirements and technical execution, working hand-in-hand with Sales to win new enterprise business and with Customer Success to ensure customers achieve rapid time-to-value with the Cranium platform.

You will own the technical conversation from first call through deployment, leading discovery sessions, guiding proof-of-value engagements, and supporting post-sale implementation across our APAC customer base. This role is ideal for a technically strong, customer-oriented individual who thrives at the intersection of engineering and commercial impact.

As a Solutions Engineer, you will:

  • Lead technical discovery sessions with prospective customers to understand their AI infrastructure, security posture, and compliance requirements.
  • Design and deliver compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-value (POV) engagements tailored to prospect environments.
  • Serve as the primary technical voice throughout the sales cycle, including responding to RFPs and RFIs.
  • Partner with Account Executives to develop strategies that map Cranium’s capabilities to customer-specific use cases and AI risk priorities.
  • Own the technical implementation and deployment of the Cranium platform post-sale, driving the transition from presales to production.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to relay customer feedback, advocate for feature prioritization, and inform the product roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and deployment playbooks that support scalable customer implementations.
  • Build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders across customer organizations.

What We Look For

  • 3–5+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical presales role, ideally within a SaaS, cybersecurity, or AI/ML company.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in API integrations and enterprise software deployments.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, frameworks, and tooling (e.g., Hugging Face, Azure ML, or similar).
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles, including scoping POVs, responding to RFPs, and delivering technical presentations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with demonstrated ability to engage across C-suite, engineering, and security stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • A passion for technology and innovation, with an interest in AI security and governance.
  • Based in Australia or the APAC region, with willingness to travel for customer engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working with AI security, model governance, or AI compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO 42001).
  • Prior experience working with enterprise customers in Financial Services, Healthcare, or Technology sectors.
  • Experience contributing to technical sales enablement materials, including solution briefs, demo environments, and architecture diagrams.

Technologies We Use

  • Azure DevOps
  • MS Office Suite
  • Teams
  • SmartSuite
  • HubSpot
